Thanks for the message ! Well a travelpal is anyone who would be interested in travelling somewhere with me sometime in the future ! I'm really keen on travelling although so far I can't say I've been very far... I've read that you've just been on a gap year, did you use any of that time to travel ? I'd suggest not to try to learn romanian the hard way, just pick up some phrases that'll be usefull to you, because the grammar sucks...

Like Nea' Pomana said, not every one knows english*, but it depends where you'll be volunteering​​ and what people you'll be working with. If they're under 25, yeah, you might get along, but if they're middle-aged or older, sorry...

But you'll be fine, don't worry.

I want to learn german as well, but i only got to 'wie geht es dir?'...

Oh mai gosh. I know what you mean about old books. They're so beautiful and the smell! Just wonderful. I have a dictionary at home that is over 200 years old.. I love it. Second hand shops are like my stomping ground. A week doesn't go by that i'm not in atleast 2, looking around and buying things I shouldn't! (For example, it's only Wednesday and I've already been to two this week and bought a new scarf). My friend collects vintage MLPs so it's always exciting to go into a op-shop and find an original vintage pony from 1984 sitting in the toy bin for 50 cents! It's exciting :P

That's terrible about the puppy.. I'm sorry for their loss. :( My weeks been pretty lax.. I'm on a mid-semester​ break from school, and don't start work for another week and a half (I take care of 4-12 yr olds full-time on the holidays). I'm spending today getting as present for my Mum's birthday, going out to take some photos, and I have work in the afternoon.

Is it interesting staying at your grandparents;​ or is it one of those big old houses in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do?
