I am 25 year old English Major, Japanese Minor born and raised and living in San Francisco. I am shy at first but once I get to know you I'm a really loyal friend.  My goals are to be an internationa​l ESL instructor, preferably in Japan but I'm thinking about other countries, too. I love languages and learning about different countries and cultures.

Right now I'm looking for penfriendshi​p preferably from Japan, Korea, Thailand, + other parts of Asia, and Europe from all over, especially from the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man,  France, Netherlands,​ Switzerland,​  or any other country really! I have become virtually obsessed with Iceland and I will answer all letters from Icelandic people as well!  I prefer snail mail to email, as I love letters, but I guess email is ok, too if you're an interesting person but don't like putting pen to paper. However, I love to write long, chatty letters and I get quite upset when I pour my heart and soul into a 5+ paged letter and only get a two paged reply written on A5 paper! I guess I'm an old soul and like to read and write, long, deep, thought provoking letters.

In addition, I don't want any requests for money and absolutely NO romance or marriage proposals. I am not a walking green card, so if you're looking only to get US citizenship,​ look somewhere else!
