Brian Eno is very minimalist and some people think he's very pretentious. And maybe he is, I'm not sure, but I like his music. But it's sort of like he'd be one of those people who'd eventually release a record that was complete silence, and then people would gasp over its brilliance and other people would be left fuming about it. I would actually like a neon bible though and I probably would buy one if it was a reasonable price. And that's sort of how I think about it, that there's spirituality, and most people find it boring, but then they jazz it up with a few bells and whistles so that people find it exciting. And maybe it means that people completely miss the message because they're drawn to all the frills, or maybe it's a viable gateway to draw people in until they reach the real substance.

What does it mean that you put Neon Bible there? I just left it playing, expecting it to build up to some sort of crescendo and then it just stopped before anything happened? Do people like that song? It seems different from there other ones. Maybe they went minimalist? They should leave that to Brian Eno.
