oh it's quite alright. I mean it's probably a good idea to say things like that anyway, that way you may actually get me to reply... but here I am again making the effort! I'm very proud of myself. Jezz gosh though, I'd have to hear something truely horrible to come to those conclusions. I can't imagine what. not that I talked to her anyway I mean, I think it'd be far too awkward. She lives in Amierica, and I've seen her what like, 3 times in my life? They may be coming over in April though, perhaps I'll ask her face to face then? It probably wouldn't work coz, I'd end up defending you and, if she just thinks you're wierd, I duno if it would go down very well :/. ha.

conference. that's such an american thing to do. what's it on? you should really have said what, but you just left it all mysterious, my mind wandering. photography? journalism? student politics? these are the only things i can picture. and politics and journalism are a stretch. enlighten me, though.

University stars for me next week (well, in some capacity; it's just Orientation, then lectures from the 1st) which I'm not looking forward to. New Zealand has one of the top secondary school systems in the world, but then, university is utter shit. not keen. I am to

study English, Philosophy, and German. And not Law, to the dismay of parents and friends (here in NZ, law is an undergrad degree that you just do straight up.) if you were intrested. I understand just three subjects sound strange to americans who must take like a bagillion courses in thier freshman year? that's not from any high authority, though.

one of these days I'll reply to your email. this is a terribly sort of, dull wall post. ask me some questions? I'd like it if you did. Is your mum right? I'd struggle to give myself more than one 'real' friend, he being the only guy from my class (along with me) not off to study medicine, engineering, or law. All those other kids are alright, but a little hard to fathom. I give extra personal infomation with the thought in mind that it may intrest you, if perhaps you wanted to know more about me. It's not all that hard to guess though, is it? relatively cliched in its own way. not that i don't recall you perhaps are intrested in cliches, and not that I don't think I'm smarter and better at the game than all those cliched people doing largely the same as I. mm.

Do know I am currently without laptop, though. still. I think mainly it's just an inertia (read: laziness?), and, just going through those phases when you get so over people (as a collective, ie not over 'you'). you know. still. I'm genuinely sorry you feel that way. I personally have an image of me as ultimately rather mellow and detached. oh well. i can see where you're coming from, anyway.

probably it was. when i read it though i was like 'woah she's cool, coz she's thinking different'. Not that I hadn't thought about the positives of smoking before (on the side, my media studies teacher was vehemently pro-smoking (smoking everything and anything)) that I'd been won over on alot of points, but your different conception (different in relation to most) of, you know, life and death, an inversion of the human instinct to live live live - i really liked that. Just becuase you don't see it hardly damn anywhere. I mean i believe that art, and valuable experience (say assuming value etc. perhaps exists) should come out of that space in human consiousness that manages to be totaly detached from constructed and biological desires (constructed as in, some 'instictive' responses in humans these days are the result of societal constructs/conditioning). Yeah? That extra little bit of space we seem to have, above all animals. where the 'art', and much else (God? etc. You know.) lives, and i reckoned you were quite firmly digging into there with that comment. At the same time though, a little melodramatic, yes. If you were trying to persuade anyone but me who saw that that people should stop laying into smokers, it wasn't going to succeed. The other guy would have just gone 'she's a jerk', and walked off.

i'm sorry i don't get back to you, I'm just excessively lazy. Or I find communication of any kind highly stressful.

Through facebook. Before you clamped it down and now you can't see nothing. Broad Run High? Ashburn, VA? My cousins are Lorren and Nikki Fox. Their names may not even be spelt right. I don't believe they were in your year or anything, but still, pretty trippy. I read your wall-to-walls with other people. isn't that obvious, doesn't everyone do that? you didn't try very hard to answer my question. i'm very tired and thatt's why it's all coming out like this. like this.

I admire your efforts on here second time round, Michelle. Leaving people long-ish comments, sharing similar intrests, seaking infomation about other cultures. it's all very admirable. although, you're still very you, and you have left that french guy a little confused. Maybe that's just the language barrier though.

Anyway this is a shocking comment. don't disown me. i do wish you'd write me an email or something though. i've been off here a bit coz school results came out too. that was distracting. I would like to tell you I'm the greatest Media Studier New Zealand has ever seen, (it's true, my results in media studies are the highest seen on record, though under the new system the record only lasts 5 years) but I failed a bunch of other stuff. it's all about writing essays. many of my essays were a bit nuts.
