I'm a sophmore in college, studying linguistics and foreign languages. I'm also a lifeguard for the YMCA. My lifestyle is a very free one. I live with my boyfriend and his family and spend my free time either at home, showing all of our pets love (4 dogs, countless cats, a bearded dragon and a bunch of chickens) or hanging out my close friends. I am a nature loving, tree hugging, vegetarian, Quaker, pro-life and gay-marriage​, anti-war liberal - a hippie in other words and proud of it.

I plan on visiting Thailand this winter vacation, so I would especially love to chat with people from that country, but my love for travelling and learning leaves room for friends of every nationality.​ My only request is that those who write me intend to continue to write me and do so often. I'd like to develope a friendship that will last longer than a few letters.

I spend a good deal of my weekends camping. I cannot think of a better way to enjoy life and friends than sitting around a campfire miles into the woods, drinking and talking. I also love almost anything to do with water: swimming, boating, sailing, fishing.
If you gave me a thousand dollars and sent me into a music store, I could spend it all in 10 minutes flat. I prefer my life to have a soundtrack.
