Yeahh, I know the feeling, I've been pretty busy with school too! Well Thanksgiving​­­ break is next week and I'm thrilled about that because I haven't had a break from school since August when I was on summer vacation. Speaking of which, it's so weird for me think that it'll be summer in New Zealand soon. But that's cool- I wish it were about to be summer here, but instead winter is on its' way. =/ I just hope it snows; I love snow! I live in Maryland and snows here sometimes, but it's never that much snow; not nearly as much snow as states like New York or Minnesota get.

So you're going to Australia for vacation? That does sound so exciting to me! What city are you going to? How long is your summer vacation?

I think I've listened to Paramore's new album about 8 or 9 times since Saturday. Ahhh, I really do love it! When I first listened to it, I thought it sounded a different than the Paramore songs I was used to listen to. But once I really paid attention to the lyrics, I realized that it was the same Paramore, just more mature and with 'brand new eyes.' :] The whole album is awesome, but my fav. songs are: Careful, Brick By Boring Brick, Turn It Off, Where The Lines Overlap, and Misguided Ghosts.

I sadly don't know of any New Zealand artists. I know of some Australian artists, but not any kiwis. I've never heard of Manchester Orchestra, but I have heard of Muse, though I've never really heard anything by them. I like The Killers too. I can talk all day about music as well.

Yes I like 'Whale Rider'. I thought it was good! But that's the only more about the Maori culture that I know of. I hadn't heard of those Maori actors before, but after I looked them up, I know who they are now.

That's really cool that Maori is your first language even though you live in an English-spea​king country. Does anyone else in your family know English? I wish I had learned a second language at a young age. I didn't start learning Spanish until I was 13 years old. I've studied it in school for about 6 years now. I'm still not fluent, but I'd like to be one day. Besides English and Maori, do you know any other languages? Anthropology​ and Maori studies- that's very interesting!​ What year in university are you?

My taste in music is really eclectic, but I listen to mostly I like rock/alterna​tive/indie, pop, and soul music. I especially love American bands and internationa​l pop music. Last week, I was really into British pop artists. This week, I'm really into Paramore's new album, 'brand new eyes'. Have you heard it? It's amazing! I LOVE Paramore and really hope to see them in concert one day!

I think New Zealand is a gorgeous country in photos, though I don't know much about it. I've only heard of the Maori culture thanks to the movie 'Whale Rider'. Beyond that, I don't know much about the Maori culture either. The Maori population in the US is not very big, so I'm sure most Americans don't know about it. But I am quite interested about this culture and about New Zealand. So I read that Maori is your first langage, not English- that's interesting!​ Was it hard for you to learn English? Did you grow up in a Maori community?

How did the essay go ?:) i'm sure you have heard about K. Dick, at least about movies they made from his books, like Blade runner.
So far my phone is doing ok, still a bit strange without keys. :)

I'm snooping around but i sure need to take some decent photos. I got myself a samsung s5320, it has touch screen and i'm scared! it's the first cell phone i own that does more then just calls, i hope it will survive with me for some time.
i think i want some sci-fi books, but not sure what should i check first, i know only Philip K. Dick, so i have to do some research :)

Oh, good luck with your essay, what time is at your place now? I;m doing fine, autumn is beautiful here, i took a long walk, finaly got myself a new cell phone (last one was broken). And i'm looking for a new book to read.
