When I was in high school I went deer hunting in the mountains above Cody, in the Sunlight Basin area.   My father worked in the oil field in the Rockies for most of the 70s and about half the 80s, until the bust.  Parents were divorced.  Been to Yellowstone twice, firsrt time spent the night at Flagg Ranch, and to through the Tetons.  Nice place but too many people.   Been all across southern Wyomng.  Spent a summer in Rock Springs, not my favorite place.  And a summer in southeast Idaho right near Cokeville Wyoming in southern Lincoln county.  I envy your son also.  I have not been to Dubois, but that area is a nice part of Wyoming.  Thanks for putting up those nice pictures.

The area around Cody and the Absarokas is one of the most beautiful places in Wyoming
