About Me:

Hmmm.. a description of me? Well I'm an Aussie girl with a wicked sense of humour and pretty down-to-eart​h. I've been told I'm a good listener, honest and loyal. I stick to my guns; stubborness being one of my strongest traits.

I'm also a simple girl who appreciates the smaller things in life, yet seems to take them for granted. Kind of an oxymoron really. I love the cliches - to lie on the grass watching clouds go by, walking on the beach, curling up with a good book, but there's a few odd and surprising things about me, for example the fact that I enjoy knitting (although my abilities are limited to scarves!) even though its such a 'granny' thing to do. Another weird thing is I like to clean. Well, only when the mood strikes. Otherwise I can't be effed and I'm as lazy as the next slob! :)

Ooh I also believe that good spelling and grammar is a must! So if you cannot bother writing properly and u talk lyk dis lyk al da time n fink its kool -
PLEASE dont talk to me, because I have little patience for it. That's not me being rude either, I just don't like talking to people who purposely write like a 5 year old :)

What else.... Oh I moved out of my parent’s house about a year ago, and it is fantastic.
The freedom is unimaginable​, and I love being independent.​ And the house parties are awesome.

I try to be a gym junkie, but I fail miserably. I go maybe 2-3 times a week before being lazy and not going for 3 weeks straight (like now, for example). But I am starting Pilates and I'm determined to keep with it!! (edit: a few months after writing that, I didnt stick with it haha!)

I fail at almost everything I start. For some reason this is fun, because the fact that I don't finish always means I can pick it back up later on.

I am not currently undertaking any form of study or schooling (i.e. University) as I hated the pressure of exams and assignments in high school.
I do, however, plan to further my cultural knowledge. And it's something I plan to experience first-hand rather than "learning"​ about it while sitting in some stuffy classroom.

2009 is the year for travelling - my boyfriend and I are planning an overseas trip, starting with England and travelling ALLLLLLL over Europe (as far and as long as our money will take us anyway), and then heading to the land of the United States for a grand ol' time! Yay!

Oh and another thing about me is that I love history. Both modern and ancient. I enjoy reading about World War I & II, along with Vietnam and Nazi Germany. This is one of the reasons I want to visit Europe - it has so much history, I can't wait to drink it all in!

I also get frustrated with little things too, like walking behind people that dawdle (especially,​ if I'm in a rush/running​ late) and I think that people who use escalators (with the exception of the elderly and disabled etc) instead of stairs are lazy.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

PHOTOGRAPHY!​ Its my life. Dance, pilates (well, soon to be!), gym (when I'm there), reading, clubbing, friends, music and movies, doing nothing, sleeping, internet, looking at photos, writing letters and often pondering about the weird and wonderful thing we call life.

Favorite Music:

My musical tastes vary to almost each and every genre! I love country, pop, alternative,​ rock, classic rock, urban RnB. Some include Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Nickelback, Paramore, The Doors, Spice Girls, Hanson, Fall Out Boy, Cold Chisel, Jimmy Hendrix and Tegan and Sara.

One thing I hate though, is those who base their opinion of a genre on what everyone else might think of it, or because of one bad song.
That's what seems to happen with country music; people might hear some old man singing about his dog and a honky tonk, yet that is not what all other songs are about.
And that happens with a lot of genres. Loads of people don't like classical and they think that it's boring and only for old people, but they've probably never sat down and actually listened to it properly.

Don't be so narrow-minde​d people!
