About Me:
Hey. I'm Jeff and I'm from Manila, Philippines.
I just had a random thought about making a penpal so here I am!
I'm a student taking up Medicine. I wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember and so, here I am.
Music has always been a big part of my life. It was there when I was at the top, and it was there when I was at the bottom. There was a time when I thought of making a career out of it, but the urge for my long-time dream was too strong I guess. :D
Anyhow, that's it. Let's be friends!

I love reading books, listening to music, and going on long drives.
Like I always say; a full tank of gas, a pack of cigarettes, and a good CD can take you practically anywhere. I love walking around the city and taking in the sights.
I also try to write music on my free time.

I listen to a lot of stuff.
When I was a kid, I listened to alot of the grunge era stuff like Nirvana, STP, Pearl Jam, and the like. Those are what got me into music initially.
Now, I listen to a WHOLE LOT of other stuff. From blues, rock&roll, jazz, electronica, hard rock, pop, etc.

Yeah, "One" was a memorable song because the first time I heard was when I watched the video and the video is really sad.
That's true, to me music is just music, I understand that there are different styles/sounds but people are so hung up on genres to the point of people forming little cliques around what type of music you like.
At the moment I don't sing anywhere, I'm REALLY shy so I haven't performed on stage since elementary school, haha. But I've sung for friends just hanging out and I was offered to sing for several bands (one was a mix of funk and old classic rock style of music) but I'm so shy when it comes to standing in front of people singing which is weird because if we're just sitting around at a party...you can't get me to shut me up! So I just practice singing at home alone but my voice at the moment isn't all the great because I've been dealing with sinuses since I moved here :(

We couldn't find any musicians (other than a friend who was doing the programming) who was really into playing what we wanted to play so it didn't work out (I agree though, it was a little insane but I still want to start up something like that:)
Yeah, a metal-head...been a metal-head since I was around 5-6 years old but back then I only liked the hair metal, my brother was the one that constantly played the harder stuff like thrash and speed metal. At first I hated it but I Metallica's "One" won me over :)

That's pretty cool, I tried to start a band a while back with a couple of friends but it didn't work (we were going for grind/death sound).
