Why hello!

My name’s James, that’s the first thing :)

I’m from the north east of England, so obviously I’m from the United Kingdom. Now the United Kingdom is that little country in western Europe that looks like a monster chasing a little boy (the little boy being Ireland and Northern Ireland), and it’s where English originally comes from-so my native language is English :)

I’ve just done my A-Levels in French, Spanish and German…and if you don’t know what A-Levels are…then firstly, shame on you! Haha Secondly, look on Wikipedia…or​, if you’re  French, it’s the equivalent of the BAC, if you’re Spanish, it’s the equivalent of the Bachillerato​, if you’re German, it’s the equivalent of the Abitur, if you’re American, I think it’s the equivalent of the SAT, and if you’re Finnish, I think it’s the equivalent of the Matriculatio​n exam :)
I managed to achieve 3As, which I’m DELIGHTED with, naturally! And I’m off to the University of Nottingham to study French, German and Russian!

From this, I think you can gather that I love languages! In my free time (if I ever have any :D), I’m learning the amazing language that is: Norwegian!
I love learning about different cultures; it’s just so fun to see how differently people think, it’s so much fun!

I’ve actually had a really successful exchange from Interpals! I got to know two Finns from here, and this summer I went out to Finland to meet them and stay with them for 3 weeks! I had a fantastic time! And from knowing ZERO Finnish before I went, I can now say a few phrases!!! So yeah, I had an amazing time, and they’re two AMAZING friends that I’ve made.

How could I forget the SCANDINAVIAN​S? :D I love Scandinavia so much! So people from there too!!!! :D and people who can help me practise and improve my Norwegian!
