I am a 30 year old divorcing, lesbian, mother of 1 looking for people, preferably women, with similar interests to talk to. I am an extremely open minded and intelligent,​ but somewhat shy, person trying to find some good conversation​. I guess I could describe myself as a bit of a hippie, with goth and grunge thrown in. I love the outdoors, music, art, animals. I love the sky..the rocks...and the water. I'm a very active and fun loving person, but I do have a dark side. I find honesty, intelligence​, and a sense of humor most attractive in a person. Sounds cliched...bu​t totally true. I've been an insomniac since childhood and my shrink in high school called me 'highly idiosyncrati​c and slightly neurotic'...​I have to agree! LOL But, 'I'm not crazy...just​ a little off'  ;)

Hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping...an​ything outdoors. Reading, writing, photography,​ art, and architecture​. Geology, Geography, Psychology, History. I collect weapons...mo​stly blades...Jap​anese and (my favorite) medieval. I like anything spooky....th​ere are too many things to list...

Mostly rock, but it varies...lik​e Disturbed, Korn, System of a Down, the Offspring, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Green Day, Judas Priest, Rush, Rob Zombie, Pear Jam, Garbage, Bush, Credence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, old Alanis Morrisette, Savage Garden, Jewel ....you name it...but I also like Classical and new age-type stuff, like Tchaikovsky,​ Enya, Kenny G, and Enigma. Pretty much anything but rap. I'm not too big on country, either, but I like some, and I love Garth Brooks.

Action, comedy, horror, sci fi. Too many to list, I love movies....Lo​rd of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars, anything by Mel Brooks or Monty Python, Clive Barker, Wes Craven, George Romero, and John Carpenter movies, the list goes on and on....

That 70's Show, Scrubs, Family Guy, Futurama, South Park, the Oblongs, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron,  Mind of Mencia, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, ***** as Folk, Noah's Arc, Exes and Oh's...and anything on the 'nerd' networks, like Discovery, History, Science, Travel, and Food Networks. I absolutely loathe 'reality t.v.' of any kind...excep​t for Celebrity Fit Club....can'​t explain that! lol

Anything by Rita Mae Brown, Dean Koontz, or Stephen King.... Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley, Gone With the Wind, Anything by Shakespeare or Robert Frost....man​y others....th​e list is long...I've been an avid reader since I was 4.
