In that way I don't think there would be a problem. There are rock bands here performing in farsi ( almost any subject but not political or anti religious) . Goverments biggest problem with it is english language in songs, or screaming-growling vocals. Otherwise it would be ok.
But to me myslef and a lot of people I asked, metal in any language but english really sucks. except a few.

Actualy its forbidden cuz they call it ''anti moralistic'' and has to do things with satanism. Ludicrous stuff like that. Therefore almost all the bands are underground bands except those with none english vocals or instrumental.

Its not bad, there are bands that are active in underground scene. such as Arsames, Satura , Dawn of Rage , etc .
