English gent looking to make friends from around the world. I have a shy and quiet personality.​ I am an old-fashion kind of guy. I  hope for some interesting,​ maybe meaningful conversation​ or just random thoughts. Humor is golden and I would really enjoy that too. I like jokes but I can never come up with one of my own. A travel experience would also be worthwhile. Since a few have asked, yes, that's me. It was taken at a wedding. Not mine, but a best bud. I am what some say "a country boy" at heart. I am at peace when I am camping, hiking, canoeing, mountain climbing, fishing, or just sitting somewhere looking for constellatio​ns and waiting for the sun to rise or set.

When I am needing physical challenges, my favorite sport activities are cycling, martial arts, weight lifting, skiing, swimming, running, and tennis. I like golf too but I never find this exhausting.

For the quieter moments, I enjoy cooking, dining out, wine tasting, fixing old cars, attending cultural and educational events, and traveling.

I love animals and I like going into toy stores. I'm a notorious pack rat!
