About Me:

Hello, my name is Lissy.

And I am on a quest to find a message in a bottle.
Something that is written in eloquence and with meaning, bursting with enlightenment and words of wisdom.
Nothing short of marvelous will do, but since my adventure has brought me nothing with substantial value, I will have to settle for interpals.

Feel free to drop me a note of kind words, and if you find yourself with nothing pleasant to say, I'll receive it anyway, I'm working on being more accepting of those. ;D

IF you just want to say a dull "Hi" or "Hey, How are you?", and drown in your own unoriginality, you can do so ON MY WALL. Please, please, please stop polluting my inbox with those dim messages. :)

Requests:

No phsychotic lunatics with vulgar language tendencies, please.

You know, I always see these request sections that say "I don't want to be your boyfriend/girlfriend" or "Don't ask me for money if you're from Africa" and I always wonder, do people really ask that of others? Because I've never gotten that before, and I think I'm starting to feel a bit deprived...

Okay, let me make this clear.
I do not, D-O  N-O-T have MSN.
It's not a hoax, it's not a lie, I tried being nice about it, but some relentless patrons don't get the idea! Either that, or they just don't know what the word possession means?
Anyway, that's beside the point, let me be repetitive: me NO HAVE MSN.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

I normally accumulate freckles while searching for sea glass.
And often times I find myself venturing outside at night to perhaps catch a glimpse of a UFO.
I like to make cupcakes while donning my pink rainboots.

We are officially in a recession now... And the longest one since the great depression... Will get far worse before it gets better.. How does that fact make you feel?

... I also watched Gremlins on TV last night (pure sentimental reasons) and I immediately had to think of corbin bleu's hair. My friend wanted to know why I was laughing, very weird to explain I have to say.

Snow! SNOW!!! It is snowing! In November! A real winter in times of climate change! TV news are so excited like we've never seen this white, kinda wet and cold fluffy stuff before, they're even saying there'll be a snowstorm today, I couldn't be happier haha. My fur free coat now even makes sense, life can be great.

Joe is a man of style and taste, I bet his text message has been full of warm words and wisdom, thats why Taylor is so bitter now, his message has been too great to handle it!
I wonder how she could say he cheated on her, technically it's not possible. Theoretically.

I got your fantastic postcard (did you get mine!?) it made me laugh for quite a while :D Also I am proud to see that our North German Schleswig Holstein Cows took over the world, I bet they're planning something evil, better watch out, don't talk to them or picnic close to them, it could be your last meal!
I also prefer a postcard from the state of Georgia, the watermills look better and the lack of censorship seems more appealing to me.

I saw spanglish the other day and I was fascinated to see how Adam Sandler talked about Sea glass and how he needed it to decorate food plates for his restaurant, I have never heard of it before and now its haunting me! I so badly want to go to Denmark or at least the German coast to look for amber now, it was my favourite thing when i was a kid. Aww.

A more profound theme: I cut my hair off! I'm the daytime Cindy Lauper now! Well, nearly.

Yeah, you find yourself listening to the same things but then you force yourself to listen to different things on purpose, which I guess is quite good.

They let you play a few full songs on there, but it's not very many. I guess it's copyright and forcing you to buy it really.

The song's The Middle, I think I went through a phase of listening to it over and over again. I really don't know why. I don't hate it just yet but I definitely haven't put it on in ages.
What's No.1 on yours?

It's kind of taught me that I listen to the same stuff far too much. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Have you ever tried pandora? That was quite cool for a while.

Yeah, I've got the iTunes thing going, it's a bit sad that I've had the same Jimmy Eat World song at No.1 on the top 25 for about 6 years now.

Thanks for the kudos, I've been running low lately.
I quite like the last.fm thingy, mostly for the charts, it's kind of cool seeing who you've been listening to recently. It does sometimes bugger up though, not entirely perfect.
