Random penpals...

About Me:

Hi! My name is Kirstie. I'm 19 years old. (=^oo^=)

Description, hmm...

Well for one, I never seem to be 'plain'. Who would want to be that anyway? There's no fun in it!

I used to work in a clothing shop. I'm now learning IT. It's pretty simple for me; I'm learning what I already know~

I have a boyfriend and a fluffy white cat, both of whom I adore... though sometimes I have to compete with my cat for his attention!
((^v^))

Requests:

I can't reply to everyone! I'm so very sorry! (-,-)

I would appreciate it if everyone could send something other than a 'hey, how r u'. Be expansive, add some points of discussion!

What is it like where you live? What is well-known about there?
Is anything popular at the moment?

Is there anything outside of your country that you like? What is your favourite city? Have you been there?

What about pets? Family? Friends?

Do you have a song in your head at the moment? A book? TV show?

What blood do you have?
I have Irish, Scottish, English, a little Chinese and possibly Egyptian blood ^^

I hope this will help you. (o^w')o

Oh, and please don't be afraid of poking me if I suddenly vanish after I've started talking to you. I can be so horribly forgetful sometimes...

Language Exchange Requests:

I am, in all essence, a beginner so I would need a teacher who can take baby steps with me. o(-'v'-)o

I want to learn every language I can. (^-^)

I do not think myself as a good teacher but I will try my best to help others with English.
If all else fails, I'm pretty nifty with some online translators.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

Ooh, this is going to be fun! o(^∀^)-o

I love collecting clothes. It's actually more hoarding than collecting, but that's not the point. The majority of my 'collection' have unusual styles or patterns.
I adore the traditional dresses of the Asian regions. I already own a Yukata, Kimono, a small Furisode. I also have an Easy-Tie, Hanhaba, and two Nagoya obis.
My collection is slowly growing~! o(^ω^)o

I'm fasinated by everything about Asia. I'm focused on Japan right now. I'm trying to teach myself Nihongo, but since there are no classes nearby, it's very difficult. I only know a few Kanji and maybe one or two sentences, but I do know the correct way to write and nearly all the pronounciations (the 'u' on 'desu' sometimes catches me out though...).

As a challenge, I created a blog on Ameba, a J-Blogging site. I'm learning quite a few kanji that way. Now I need a way to learn how to speak and write ^^'

I also love reading, writting, drawing, messing around with graphics on the computer and snapping photos with my digital camera.

Ooh! Video games! Love them too~♥
I don't get much of a chance to play any though, due to my working.
Final Fantasy VII~XII (excluding XI) are my fandoms. Also Kingdom Hearts series. o(・v ~ )o

Favorite Quotes:

Do not limit memory to just one individual's experiences from birth. That is only the surface.

Every life born into this world, whether natural or artificial, requires a parent. And that parent also requires a parent. Life is connected, one to another...

If you trace the root of all life, there exists one source.

The same can be said for memory.
All life constitutes an intelligence that holds memory beyond experience. Memory is not isolated within individuals. It is an accumulation of generations of memories that continues to evolve.

You can say that memory and evolution go hand in hand. But most life-forms do not understand the true nature of memories... ...which explains why most memories never cross paths and are left..."untangled."
