I love my friends, writing, good books, and good movies.
Talking to random people makes me smile.

Poetry is my passion.
Learning about other cultures, places, and people makes me very happy.

I would love to just meet new people who enjoy good conversation​.   If you like snail mail you should talk to me because I absolutely adore it.

I would love to meet people from Europe.  =)  Especially speaking German or spanish so I can learn and practice.

I've taken spanish for years now and love learning languages, but I'm not in school at the moment so I'm getting rusty and would like to fix that. I can understand it well reading it, but often have a hard time replying.

I'm starting to teach myself German and American Sign Language.  So anyone to help with German would be great, too!!

If anyone wants to teach me another language I'd be happy to try it.

Writing, reading, playing in summer rain, smiling, making other people smile, cuddling and dancing with my bf, early morning cigarettes, newly hatched baby birds, little kids, swimming, singing when no one else can hear me, food,  Etc.

I like almost everything.  I'd probably have to say rock and indie though.  Nickel Creek and Goo Goo Dolls I could never live without.  But I also like GNR, Nirvana, and Eminem.  After recently getting a CD player in my car, I have rediscovered​ Idlewild, Snow Patrol, Anberlin.  I like Kimya Dawson, Dropkick Murphys, yellowcard, Coldplay, Iron and Wine, Imogen Heap, Pereza, Laura Marling, Ryan Adams, Oasis, La Vela Puerca, Wir sind Helden, Tokio Hotel, tyo, random mashups...I have a very wide range as far as taste goes.  I even love quite a bit of soundtrack stuff.

JUNO! Garden State, Little Miss Sunshine, Crash, Requiem for a Dream, Classic disney movies, dot the i, Breakfast at Tiffany's, V for Vendetta, Amelie, Princess Bride, Becoming Jane, fight club, aladdin, what dreams may come, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, love actually, Aladdin, the Cowboy bebop movie, the Kill Bill volumes, Goodbye Lenin...I watch a new movie almost every night, and I like so many!

I don't watch a whole lot of TV anymore, but I really like...House​, Bones, Friends, Lots of Anime, southpark, futurama, family guy, Futurama, gilmore girls, so you think you can dance....

J.D. Salinger rocks my socks.  Pride and Prejudice, A heartbreakin​g work of staggering genius, Slaughterhou​se five, the great gatsby, My Antonia, The Bean Trees, Atonement, and way too many others to list.  Not to mention poetry.  =)
