i'm kim. i'm 24 years old.
i find describing myself really difficult, and as a result,
i never know what to write in these things;
there's either way too much, or not enough.

i'm short, i like to travel, i make friends better online than i do in real life because awkward silences are so much easier to deal with at a computer. i like peppermint filled chocolate and eating nutella out of the jar, i have a love for vegemite on toast (it's an aussie thing) and crave cherry limeade like a junkie. i have a big collection of flavoured tea and drinking it makes me feel like i'm doing something healthy for myself. my job depresses me, dealing with people that complain for too long makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out, but unfortunatel​y this world is money driven, which keeps me there. i sponsor a child which makes me feel like i'm doing something for the world, and hearing from her is like a little ray of sunshine. i used to penpal like a crazy woman (seriously) but now my mailbox is somewhat empty and that saddens me. i like shopping online because getting packages in the mail makes every day feel like christmas. i have a weird liking for christmas carols, they put me in a good mood. i whinge about bad grammar but as you can see i'm too lazy to use capital letters. i'm definitely not this talkative in real life. i'm kinda the quiet shy person that people think is a) snobby, b) rude, or c) a combination of both.

i want to see the world, i want to have a beer in germany, i want to ride a bike through the streets of amsterdam, i want to eat a croissant and have a coffee for breakfast with the eiffel tower in the background. i want to ride gondolas in venice, i want to visit every state in america some day (slowly ticking them off my list). i want to see a moose in canada, and have pancakes with maple syrup there. i want to go to japan and go on a crazy kitsch shopping spree. i want to go to a tropical island in the pacific and sip on pina coladas all day long. i want to go to england and have a picture with those guards with the funny hats outside of buckingham palace. you get the point.

i will ask, if you write to me wanting to be snail mail penpals, i'll ask you to write first. if i message you, obviously i'll write first. i just don't want to write, and then get no response.
and, I DON'T MIND where you're from! i see so many people who 'friend pick' on the basis of countries...​i mean at the end of the day, people are just people. if you're a good person, who maintains interesting conversation​, then i'm sure we'll get along swimmingly no matter what corner of the globe you're from!

also, i can be hopelessly bad at replying to messages on here, so if you write to me and i don't reply, please don't be alarmed, i've probably just been caught up with life. that's why i like paper letters better...the​y sit there staring me in the face until i reply!
