I'm very nerdy & quirky. I laugh at things that most people find silly  and overanalyze things deemed trivial.
When people initially meet me, they often have the strangest misconceptio​​ns...and I completely use this to my advantage! (shhh.)
Hopeless romantic, but can be quite the cynic.
Too ambitious for my own good.

My philosophy is to laugh as much as you can, enjoy life as much as you can, & “don’t waste the pretty”–than​ks Mr. Behrendt! I try to maintain a sense of joie de vivre, and I admire people who exude that kind of natural happiness. I’d like to think I’m easy to get along with. Tension makes me uneasy, and animosity makes me toss & turn at night. I have no backbone​ am somewhat of a pushover–but​ I’m trying to rectify this! I stress waaay too much in college, so I’m unbelievably​ ridiculous (and horribly immature) outside the lecture hall. I’m the reigning queen​ of awkward turtles.

Oh, and Johnny Depp will always have that special place in mi corazon.

Uh...hmm. Well, I just love meeting new folks, and I'd love to talk to people from all areas of the globe. Hence why I signed up for this little doo-dah (I'm not sure if that's an actual word, but I tend to make up words in conversation​, and then place them in context as if they really exist. I'm such a nut.)

I'm not exactly the greatest person to talk to when it comes to political agendas, but I suppose I can try.  But if you're wanting to battle it out, then that's totally fine, but I'm definitely not the person for you (I'm a bit too passive for that!). I'll talk about pretty much anything, though, so que sera, sera.

As long as you're friendly & have GOOD intentions, and you're not afraid to talk to someone who's a bit crazy and out there... then I'm totally down with that. And there you have it.

The option wasn't on here, but I would be ecstatic if I could improve my Cebuano. My Tagalog is pretty horrific...a​nd while I did take about 6 years of hardcore Spanish, I still to this day cannot carry a full-fledged​ conversation​. Ugh!

Just goes to show you that you can't be taught everything. I just need to spend 2 years in a country and hear/speak/t​hink nothing but that language. If only!

I listen to everything from rock to rap, from crooners to classical, from pop to polka. Okay... polka is an overstatemen​t--I just want to illustrate that I have a broad range in my musical preferences…​polka is not really my kind of music.
