Guess what I´m doing here. Okay, I´ll give you a hint … it has sth to do with words, different languages and people from all over the world … any idea?
Yes, of course: I devise crossword puzzles with hidden messages and then I´ll send them to people all over the world. Therewith I try to take over the world ;-)

I live in a small village in the Rhein-Main-a​rea. I´m a student, studying the economics at the Frankfurt University. Beside my studies I work for the logistics department of an internationa​l automotive supplier.

In my free time I do some honorary jobs for an emergency service (especially ambulance service, teacher for first-aid courses and group leader in our emergency service). I also play the guitar for nearly 12 years now and started to play handball a few weeks ago.

I would describe myself as a down-to-eart​h guy who likes the things he does and knows what he wants. Maybe the things I wrote above may sound boring or not sensational,​ but who cares? Since I am not here for finding my next girlfriend, my future wife or sth like that I do not have to impress you by telling you some of my stories. If you would like to hear it anyway, just give me a message.

After getting my bachelor´s degree I´d like to leave Germany for a couple of years. I´d be glad to find a job in Canada, USA or Switzerland (I know, it does not match *lol*) for some years or maybe more. Therefore I ´m searching for some English or French speaking penpals. Since my French is more than rusty I take some classes now to refresh the things I learned years ago. Hence I´d appreciate if we could start in English and switch to French when I feel more confident.

Sometimes it will take a few days until I can answer. I study fulltime and I have a job beside my studies and these things take a lot of time. But I promise I will answer as soon as I can. I´d prefer email or chat since it´s easier for me. I also made the experience of snailmail (when I started here I thought I would not like it, but I did) and I would appreciate to find some more snailmail pals. But please only offer me to write letters if you would not be angry when I (maybe) need some weeks to reply. I must confess that I´m a bit lazy ;-)

And just to answer the questions in advance:

Hoff is a short form of my surname. One day my French ex-colleague​ and I started to mix languages just for fun and "Le Hoff" started to exist. Just to show you the differences:​ I´ve NOT been looking for freedom, I´m still looking for it in some way. My car has no red flash light in the front. The cars I drive sometimes have a blue flash light on top. And I never worked at the beach staring at nice ladies in bikinis ... Worse luck! ;-)

I can´t explain why but for me it´s easier to talk to females. Nevertheless​ I don´t care bout gender or age as long as we find sth to talk about.
I would appreciate to find especially people from North America or Switzerland to learn more about their countries and culture. But everyone is invited to say “hello”. I´m open for random chats but I´d also like to find some people out there to have good and long term conversation​ with.

I don´t believe in god, but I believe in aliens. I´m open to discuss that, but you won´t change my view =)

And I made the biggest mistake of my life: I watched the pilot of "Men in trees".​ Now I have to see what will happen next. I´ve been trapped ... unbelievable​!

I like the books by Dan Brown and Stephen King. To sum up I like mystic thrillers. Unfortunatel​y I always need a long time to finish the books I started to read since I only read in the train while going to university.

Don´t be angry if a bird shat on your shoulder. Better be happy that cows are not able to fly
