About Me:
I'm Danny! A 4th year student at The University of Georgia, located in Athens, Georgia. I'm currently studying English Literature and plan to teach after graduation. A dream of mine is to teach English as a foreign language around the world. Another is to become a published novelist, which I think requires more life experience than I have under my belt.
I'm an optimist. Through and through. If there's a bit of sunlight to be seen you can bet your last dollar I'll catch it. I'm a highly energetic individual, and can thrive off of the energy of others! I love going and having a good night downtown--and downtown Athens, GA is something to experience! I do a lot of community service and philanthropy work, which is extremely important to me. We need to be the change we wish to see in the world, right? Specifically, right now I'm working with an organization which raises money for children in Georgia who are infected with HIV and AIDS, as well as an organization which plans and executes spring break service trips around the country for students at my school.
I don't want to live in one place for the rest of my life. I want to travel. I want to see the world. More of it than I already have. I've been all around the United States--Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Arizona! I've ventured out of the country to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Ireland, and France!
And that isn't nearly enough to quench my desires. :)

Requests:
If you're going to visit my page, and read my profile, why not leave a message? It'll hardly take any time at all, and I'd love to speak with as many of you as possible!
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
Reading / Writing, obviously. That is not, however, the only defining characteristic about me! I'm a huge fan of the outdoors: I enjoy hiking, camping, and occasionally fishing. My Saturdays are often spent watching college football. Go Dawgs, sic em! I also like video games. Currently awaiting Star Wars: The Old Republic.
A poem I wrote, Valentine's Day, is in my notes... As is another, Swimming, a poem in prose.

Hey!
Just stoppin thru :)
I love How I Met Your Mother, too! Haha Barney is awesome - “You know who is confused? Bimbos. They’re easily confused. It’s one of the thousand little things I love about them. I love their vacant, trusting stares; their sluggish, unencumbered minds; their unresolved daddy issues. I love them Lily, and they love me. Bimbos have always been there for me, through thick and thin—mostly thin. B-man don’t do thick crust, what up!”
LOL
Have a great weekend! :)

Lol. That's cool. I love goofs! I'm one myself. And sorry it took SSOOOO long to answer, I haven't been online in FOREVER... Lol.
Haha, thanks Danny! :)
I love having actual conversations, and giving detailed answers to questions and whatnot. It's just how I roll ;) I'm glad to see you left quite the reply back as well!! A++ ;]
I do believe that title rings a bell. I haven't read it, but I will most certainly give it a go!
Absolutely! Oooh, that would be neat. A lot of my friends participate in NaNoWriMo. =) My friend Karen completed quite the novel this year. It was fantastic. I'll search through some of my pieces and type some up on here to share. :)
Pretty much!; and you know how much women love shoes! Haha! I just love the arts. It's my own special way of expressing myself. No matter what form of art it is!
That sounds pretty incredible! The outdoors is such a majestic place! I spend as much time as I can out there. I love BC for the mountains, lakes, ocean, and other outdoorsy stuff. Cliff jumping is a lot of fun. Have you ever tried?
OH! Local concerts are just the best. The big names are cool too, but I love going out to see local talent, as well as getting out there and performing myself. ^-^ Both open mics, and planned gigs!
Talk to you soon!

Hi Danny I'm Stephanie, I wanted to say hello, since I agree, it doesn't take long to say hi :)
Your so lucky to have travel all over the place, I haven't had a chance yet to explore but one day I hope I can :) I really want to visit England and Australia, that would be a dream come true for me!
It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulder, I always love to see young people get involved with things. Sometimes it can be frustrating hearing people my age complain about things but never want to get off there lazy butts and do it. :/ I'm trying myself :)
Well I hope you have a good day, your more then welcome to message me back, if you don't that's okay, I still wanted to say hello!

Hi Danny!
What's up?
Ranking them from best to "worst". Hmm...
I think I'd rank them 1. Laughing 2. Sleeping 3.Sailing 4. Cooking.
And I've got plenty of big blankets, AND a fireplace. :D
It finally started snowing this week, and it looks like the snow is here to stay. Wich is a great thing for people like me who love slalom. Slalom-skiing is just about the only reason why I like winter. ;)
You play bass? That's cool! I tried learning how to play guitar once, but I gave up. Now I play flute. It's going pretty well, concidering I just started this fall.
