If you like to have a Palestinian friend here I am. Take care
Hi Beatrice, I am a Malaysian Chinese and I like your zest for life. Take care and be safe, ya.
Hello would you like to be friends on messenger. Mal.
It's interesting to find a Hungarian in Australia unless there are more of your countrymen there. I have been to Hungary many times. Every two years a dog show was put on there for our breed of Russian dogs. Half of my family came from west Ukraine when it was part of the Austria/Hungarian empire. It's always great to visit that part of the world. The town where the show was held is Szentendre. The end of the train line from Budapest. It's a quaint little town with a lot of souvenir stores and it has an excellent camp ground for travelers.
3 languages! & such a zest for life :)x Respect... It seems you love life in all its wonderful forms & it shows in your wonderful 'honesty' online. That's wonderful! I 'write'; fiction & online social platform Govt., critique/whinge - only in English unfortunately, or perhaps, fortunately for non-English readers :) Wishing you health, happiness, peace & some joy in 2020, Beatrice, ma'am :)

Interestingly enough, my father also came from Transylvania which I claim accounts for any madness I may exhibit now and then. The rest is pure Hungarian so that's my saving grace, LOL. Add to that the fact in 1861, my ancestors migrated from Bavaria because of religious persecution: they were Roman Catholics. It is also my good fortune to have grown up here in Australia which has afforded me many opportunities I would not have experienced otherwise. I'm a little of a lot all mixed together, much like a good minestone soup or a colorful tapestry. Please do write a little of yourself for it may be interesting to compare histories, thoughts etc.
So my father was born in what was Czechoslovakia and my mother in Romania (actually in Transylvania - yes I have pronounced eye teeth - LOL), but the borders were so fluid in the early 1900's taht they just settled on being Hungarian and spoke the language. I only know one Hungarian expression that should not be mentioned in polite company. ;-) I'd be very interested in corresponding with you the ends of which would be to develop a friendship.
