About Me:
Have you ever sat in a little coffee shop and watched the world go by? Looked at all the different people and tried to imagine what it is to be like them?
I Love People Watching.
There is so many different types of people in this world. So many different beliefs, moods, minds, intellects.
I think it facinates me.
Although I like people I consider myself a bit of an introvert. I'm not one for going out there and making new friends. This bookmark (you know the ones that has your name and then what you should be like on them?) once told me that I 'wait for friends' and I really do believe that. When I think about it, all my friends talked to me first, definatly, except maybe Nicole who was a introverted creature at the time too...
Deep down inside me, I believe I'm an artist in every aspect of the word. I like to see the beauty in everything around me and I think it's a natural reaction for me to want to try and capture that in a painting or a drawing or whatever.
I also write. Endlessly. Whether it's in my journal, pouring my heart out, or in one of my notebooks, making up imaginry worlds or even on scrap pieces of paper writing love poems.
I kinda like flicking through the dictionary and learning big new words.
I know that I'm a true romantic at heart even though at times I think I almost don't believe there is such a thing as love. I have not yet fallen in love. I hope to one day. Obviously. Doesn't everyone?
I love mysteries and ancient stories and I like to be on my own from time to time. There is moments in my life when I just want to sit and reflect and think. My cousins say that I am 'far too deep for my own good.' I laugh.
That's another thing I tend to do a lot. Laugh. And if you ever ask anyone who knows me they will say I never stop smiling. I think I'm known for my smile.
I have a thing for beautiful notebooks. If you're ever stuck in finding a christmas present for me just buy me a nice notebook. I will be eternally grateful. Oh and nice inky writing pens.
Recently, when I've been growing up (I just got a job and I'm doing A-levels) I realised that life goes much too fast and even though you've aged like 10 years you still feel exactly the same inside. I tend to shy away from responsibility and when it's forced upon me I get funny tense knot things in my shoulders. I'm a very laid back type of person who just prefers to float through life admiring the view.
And now I come to the most important part of my life.
God.
I believe I don't have a religion at all. What I have is a personal relationship with God. God is everything to me and all I ever want to do is please Him.

Requests:
I like quirky, random, different people who have that knack in holding a wonderful conversation that lasts forever. I like people who can amuse me.
I love people who aren't afraid to be themselves and dress like that too. I know that that's a bit superficial but hey, what can you do? It's not my fault I like the whole individual fashion scene. I have a fascination with hats and shoes.
I also like a good debate. A good chin-wag. A good full-blown argument.
(:

Favorite Books:
My Bible over anything else.
Ooohh.. but when it comes to novels I dont believe in favourite books. All books are good in their own right. I really enjoyed Malorie Blackman's trilogy, Nought's and Crosses. I also liked the Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn. Jane Austen was the best female writer who ever lived. Atonement by Ian McEwan was amazing! I MUST see the film!
Some others that will stick in my mind forever:
Lucas - Kevin Brooks (Amazing writer, anything by him is good!)
King Dork - Frank Portman
How I Live Now - Meg Rosnoff
Kane and Able - Jeffery Archer
Remembrance - Theresa Breslin
Stargirl - Jerry Spinelli
If you want a REALLY funny book to read read Sue Townsend's books about Adrain Mole. They'll have you in FITS!

Favorite Quotes:
On Love:
"Though I speak with the tongues of men
and of angels, but have not love, I have
become sounding brass or a clanging
cymbal. And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries
and all knowledge, and though I have
faith, so that I could remove mountains,
but have not love, I am nothing. And
though I bestow all my goods to feed
the poor, and though I give my body
to be burned, but have not love, it
profits me nothing."
-1 Corinthians 13 - God's very words.
"I truly feel that there are as many ways of loving as there are people in the world and as there are days in the life of those people."
- Mary S. Calderone
"I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death."
- Robert Fulghum
"Those who love deeply never grow old; they may die of old age, but they die young."
- Sir Arthur Pinero
"Beauty is in the the eye of the beholder"
- Proverbs
"Change the world with a smile"

wow, that's a lot of languages! how big was your school??
well, my school was ok, but there was a huge emphasis on science, maths and welsh, which weren't my best subjects... it was a bit of a bummer! they've had to get new subjects in now, like mechanics, spanish and catering, because they didn't offer enough before...
