About Me:

I'm an adventure loving man in love with impermanence and the unknown. What means most to me about me is that I have lived in Japan (Toyokawa) and China (Chengdu) for one year each, that I am currently living in southern Kerala in India, and that I will get to know other places and cultures later that I have no clue about now!

Language Exchange Requests:

Oh my god Malayalam is such a weird language... totally messed up! Yet I'm sure I will speak it pretty well after 8 more months or so, but I probably won't notice as you always compare yourself with the locals. Whatever. When I unexpectedly meet a Malayali in another part of the world it's going to be really cool. ;)

Except for the languages above I also like Cantonese, which is not listed, a lot and it's definitely a language I am going to learn! Then I have a few others I like. But right now studying Malayalam and Hindi simultaneously is more than enough of a challenge.

Anything that inspires me! I don't watch movies as empty socializing or to kill time.

Lots of Japanese dramas! Some I like I used to like very much are:
Nobuta wo Produce, Hana Yori Dango, Kimi wa Petto, 101 kaime no Puropoozu, GTO, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Waterboys 2, and probably several more...

Star Trek TNG and Voyager rock. Gene Roddenberry must have been deeply in love with life and the unknown.

There is nothing more exciting than venturing into an unknown land and learning about the people and their culture their language and lives.. and course visiting beautiful and hystorical sites. I want to work in a flexible enviroment that allow´s me to travel at my hearts desire. What is it that you do for a living?.. or plan on doing? I have reached a fork in the road. So many things I dream of doing.. Time is ticking with reason taking over every hour that passes.

サーフィンか・・・かっこいいなぁ。
新しいことがたくさんあるっていいよね。刺激的で。
私、古武道っていう空手みたいなのをやってるんだけど、
10月から、ヌンチャクや棒を習うよ。11月に大会で見せないといけないから、練習がハードになると思う。そういう武器にあんまり興味なかったけど、ブルースリーやジャッキーチェーンのＤＶＤをかりて見たら、かっこよかった。特にヌンチャクはマスターしたいと思ったよ。これで、夜道の一人歩きも安心！

日本がつまらなく感じるのは、自分の私生活がつまらないだけなのかも。。。
外国の映画を見すぎなだけかもしれないけど、アメリカとかヨーロッパの人たちはみんなきれいだし、生活も刺激的な感じがする。

自分さがしみたいな感じ？
私も日本はつまらないと思うし、外国にあこがれる。
まあ、なにもかも捨てて、外国へ行く勇気はないけど・・・。
マーチンは行動的だね。

私は3.4年前から京都に住みたいっておもってて、
その夢をかなえるまでは、多分外国に住みたいとは思わないと思う。でも、京都の大学受けて、だめだったの・・・私には難しすぎた。でも、まだいろんなチャンスがあるし、いまそれに向けて、がんばってるところ。

yeah actually your hairdo sort of reminds me of steve jobs when he was young. The fact that you are interested in learning nudged me to message you, i am not a great hindi teacher but i can definitely be someone you can look forward to when you need help while learning this language.
