Pen palling has been a huge part of me for many years and I am now looking for a couple of new LONG letter pals who are interested in genuine friendship, who won't stop writing after a few letters, who are chatty and who write fairly regularly.
I am 28, a music, book and language lover and happily married. I am a foreigner in this country but this has become my home and I don't think, for now, that I could live anywhere else. I am self-employe​d and love my job despite constantly moaning about it... I'd say I have a good sense of humour and I am a loyal friend to those who are loyal to me.

First of all, NO MEN! Please don't even try to write, you won't get a reply.
Second, NO SHORT INTROS! I want to write with LONG letter pals and a couple of lines of an intro in which you tell me zero about yourself won't show me that you are one. I need to get a good vibe about you, to make sure we're compatible!
What's a long letter to me? I'd say at least 4 A4 pages (2 sheets front + back; small handwriting,​ small gaps)! If you write less, please don't write at all because we'd be wasting each other's time. My letters can be much, much longer, though, depending on how much the other person writes and how much is going on in my life.
I want chatty pen pals as well - there's nothing worse than receiving a letter that's a one-sided conversation​ with no questions to answer and where you think "she didn't even read my letter"​!
I am a regular writer and will expect the same of you. Writing once a month should not be a hardship!:)

I have quite a wide-raning taste in music. My favourite musician ever is Joan Baez... a life-long obsession she is, I am afraid. I also like Suzanne Vega, Sinéad O'Connor, Tori Amos, Madrugada, Kosheen, Robbie Williams, Shakira, Amy Macdonald, Metallica, Maria Solheim, Portishead, Emily Jane White... and many, many more! Couldn't live without music!
