How lucky to live in Puerto Vallarta - I loved that place, and, but for the fact that it's too far away to have English friends visit regularly, it would have been my choice for a place to live when we left England.

You bet! I run down to Puerto penasco, or known as Rocky point every 2 to 3 weeks. It's 4 hour drive but we'll worth it to be on the ocean. How long have you been down there?
