In Poland you're allowed to drink and to have drivers licence when you turn 18. There's actually no law concerning smoking, but in fact there's no need. It's common knowledge here that kids shouldn't smoke, and they usually don't. You won't have it easy to buy some being underage too.
BTW what kind of drinks do you like? I prefer beer :] plain and simple hehe. My favorite is Polish lager "Tyskie"​. My cousin from Australia who was travelling around the world a lot said it's the best lager he ever drunk. I also like stouts with some fruit flavoured sirup.

I'm planning to visit mostly Honshiu and Shikoku islands. I may also go to Kyushu if we'll have some spare time. Of course Tokyo is one of the "must-see"​ places. In fact it's one of the two places along with Kyoto I'd like to stay in a little bit longer. What will I do? Mostly travel around and see as many interesting things and places as I can. I want to see Himeji-jo and Nikko, visit few onsens, maybe do some shopping in Akiba and Harajuku, buy a Yukata, and many more... I'd love to see a real Japanese festival, but as far as I searched I didn't find any taking place in September. Maybe you could give me some tips on where to go to or sth like that? I'd be happy :]
