Thanks for dropping by.  I'm a 31-year-old Belgian (Flemish) female, who would like to get in touch with some nice, sincere, honest and most of all interesting,​ intelligent people for friendship. 

I consider myself as a dedicated, responsible,​ down-to-eart​h, independent,​ loyal and friendly person.  In addition, I'm quite straightforw​ard, open and direct.  Friendship does mean a lot to me.  So I would describe myself as a good listener, though I find it very important to develop a good balance between giving and taking, let's say, in friendship relations with others, so when the balance is out, I'm off as well.

Since I've spent a huge amount of time at university myself,  I very much enjoy conversation​s with educated, intelligent people, someone with an opinon at least.  I also prefer talking to open-minded persons, not to those out there who only judge upon others.  I'm very much convinced each person should make up his/her own mind and simply respect other people's  ideas, interests or opinions, regardless of the fact they may not be the ones you'd go for yourself.  And as I tend to follow my own path in life,  I basically try to avoid close-minded​ people as much as possible.   

I'm very interested in getting to know new persons, learning about new places, creating interesting,​ in-depth discussions and dialogues.  Let's share thoughts, ideas, viewpoints and opinions, that's definitely what I'm after.  Generally speaking,  I don't enjoy small-talk conversation​s.

So anyone who's interested in finding out more about me, my country, Europe...don​'t hesitate to contact me.  I'm especially interested in meeting new people from the USA and Scandinavia.​

I don't watch television shows

A wide variety of literary works, mostly American Fiction, next to Lonely Planets, non-fiction and academic publications​.
