About Me:
Hey there! I am a 35 years old and married for two years. I am a mom of two of my own and three step kids. I am the Manager of an Adult Foster Care program for adults with intellectual disabilities. Back in the old days (when I was young LOL) I used to have tons of friends from around the world on messengers and in email that I'd chat with from time to time and they've all sort of fallen away. I miss them a lot, so I thought I would check out this little site and see what happens!
Requests:
I'm interested in corresponding with anyone around the world who is also interested in friendship only through correspondence and/or chat only. No meeting & nothin' shady... Hubby wouldn't approve, understandably!
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
Interests? Do dishes, work, straightening teenagers' hair and homework count? Hannah Montana concerts? Ummm... ? I'm thinking. Oh, OH, I know! Okay, I'm tuned in to MY INTERESTS again. Found that section. LOVE Christian rock music concerts, playing board games with my kids, surfing the internet-- can you say YOUTUBE?? Bible study (but don't be misled - I only find myself making time for it once in a great while, so I'm not some big saint, by any means. ) video games with my kids (just learning Guitar Hero, hehe!), movies, movies, movies!, terribly interested in politics, although I get very aggravated and my family hates for me to get started on an issue... ahh, yes and my cat Baby. My husband and I have a cat that is more or less the only child he and I actually share. My two kids are mine and his three are his. We got married, adopted a cat and she's our only common child. We love her dearly and she's rotten to the core.
Favorite Music:
Christian Rock/Pop primarily. The Afters, Toby Mac, Brandon Heath, (His newest song, "Give Me Your Eyes" is just AMAZING for anyone, no matter how religious or not. Love it!!!) Addison Road, Hawk Nelson, Relient K, Storyside B, Switchfoot, Jeremy Camp, Superchick, Sanctus Real, etc... Also, on my more um, naughty side, I guess... Flogging Molly (I have Irish roots), My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, Duran Duran (I have old roots LOL), Brad Paisley, The Eagles, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Stones, Beatles, Elvis... I LOVE MUSIC, ALL MUSIC, ALMOST ALL THE TIME, EVERYTHING. :)
Favorite Movies:
Oh, the Bridget Jones movies, Walk the Line, Pirates of the Carribbean (first one only), The Holiday, P.S. I Love You, 3:10 to Yuma (and I HATE WESTERNS, but this movie was great!!), and my favorite of favorites, Mansfield Park (newer version with Jonny Lee Miller. (Love Brittish men!)
Favorite TV Shows:
Grey's Anatomy!!!! (If they don't get on a regular schedule I'm going to go insane!), Work Out (my guilty pleasure), Gossip Girl (another guilty pleasure-too many cute guys to not watch) and ALWAYS, American Idol.
Favorite Books:
The Bible :) Actually, specifically, The Soul Care Bible. Excellent little add-ins that explain things in ways I can understand, as I'm a bit dim with some things! ( Ok, a lot of things). The Book Club, Twilight, Talk Before Sleep, Bridget Jones' Diary, Ya-Ya's (all of them)

I love how you mentioned "Can you say YOUTUBE" Oh I so agree. I'm addicted to you tube! Lemme remind you - they have EVERYTHING on that thing. Anyways, *Laughs* How are you? I sure hope that everything on your neck of the woods are fine. I'm just reading your profile and was eager to write. At least, tag your wall. I'm a huge movie addict. What's the last movie you saw? I just watched "Over Her Dead Body" yesterday. It was great. I like it - it's funny! Oh wow, I loved Holiday, Ps I love you, - okay don't get me started. haha. I love grey's anatomy although I haven't watched the past two seasons. I'm not as dedicated as I use to be. But, I'd like to get back into if it comes back again. It's just I didn't have much cable to watch it. Plus, it wasn't time friendly for me. haha. I could've watched it online *hits palm on forehead*. Oh yes, American Idol - Now that don't get me started about my feelings towards it. I absolutely love, loved, loved, loved, loved this season. Anyways, I pretty much wrote u a novel-ish.
