I meant popmusic on a global scale but maybe you can give me some examples of the really worst of the worst of Russian popmusic (the only criteria is that it must be somewhat widely played in the radio). I was in Ukraine 10 years ago and noticed that the radios there often played bands that were popular in Germany a long time ago. Stuff like Modern Talking, The Scorpions or Depeche Mode (okay, he is also still popular here) but Modern Talking? Ear Cancer! I later asked online contacts from Ukraine and Russia about this to find out if it wasn't just hallucinating. They verified my claim and said a certain generation still loves them.
The only Russian origin pop band I ever noticed on German radio stations were these teenage fake-lesbians. Forgot their name.

You should really give the Danish guy a chance. Almost everybody had problems seeing him as Dr. Lectar in the beginning because we all had the image of Hopkins in mind. I have listened to Hannibal as audio book first so I was quite disappointed by the movie version. Hopkins did great acting but even that could not rescue the film. The Hannibal series gets kinda meh in the last season but it was great before. Maybe I do not remember the movie scene well but didn't he just pan-fry the brain in a very basic manner. I'm weird, I find cannibalism an interesting topic. I've read about it and studies found out some quite unexpected results.

Have you ever also watched the Hannibal TV series? I knew it was supposed to be human meat but the stuff Dr. Lectar cooked looked so delicious. I mostly stopped watching Hollywood and Western TV shows. Too many lazy remakes, no new ideas.
