Hi potential friend!

I'm Danielle, I'm 25, from Ireland. I have an M.A Degree in Anglo-Irish Literature and a B.A in English and History.

I've had to take the 12 months off from working to recover from illness but I'm starting to feel better and want to start job hunting in Autumn/Winte​r so I hope to get a job in publishing or P.R so anyone with any advice or wants to give me a job let me know LOL ;)

I'm a brunette, shorty (5'2), Green eyes and fair skin. I love to chat, spend time with friends, read and write a lot.
I love dancing, theatre, watching football, Tottenham Hotspur is my team! Oh Lordy!

I recently took up running, it's killing me but I love it especially now that I have Nike+!! So Motivating.

I also just discovered Bikram Yoga and I am Hooked!! It's practised in a room heated to 40C/110F. Crazy I know but it gets rid of all your toxins and you feel amazing for surviving it! Check it out at least once!!!

My worst habit is procrastinat​ion, I really have to work on that, sometimes it bums me out because it stops me from experiencing​ life, I need a kick up the butt ;) (Anyone want to give me a kick.

Write to me! I want to know all about your culture beyond the obvious, I want to know about your sub cultures and languages and hopefully we can be lifelong friends. Snailmail preferably.

I write long letters but it may take me a couple of weeks to reply so if you don't hear from me immediately don't worry. I will reply! I understand people can't write back right away, I'm the same but please don't write if you're going to disappear, I'd much prefer an email saying no thanks rather than be left wondering...

Oh and please don't "Friend"​ me without actually talking to me, I've been nice and accepted up until now but it's getting annoying and no telling me you love me, I like adoration but when it's heartfelt :)

I would love to be more fluent in French and would love to improve my spanish!

I like all kinds, classical, hip hop, rap, pop, rock, metal, country, a little of everything keeps me happy :) At the moment my Ipod playlist reads Rihanna, Guns and Roses, The Ting Tings, Chris Brown, Coldplay, David Bowie, Oasis, Radiohead, The Beatles, Ministry of Sound Chilled...
Also Partial to the odd BBC  Radio 4 podcasts.

I have way too many DVD's!!
I love Girly movies, Comedies, Thrillers, Horror, Mystery, Romance, Sci-fi. I'm pretty much the ideal date to bring to a movie (hint hint)

Recently I've seen  Gone Baby Gone, The Mist, Wanted and What happens in Vegas...

Also saw Mamma Mia, American Gangster, 3:10 to Yuma, Serenity, Superbad, The Assasination​ of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Love Thrillers and Action like Bourne Trilogy and there will always be a special place in my heart for Top Gun LOL

I just watched Atonement, LOVED it! City of God is another great one and Priceless (Hors De Prix) was fab.

If I could look like Audrey Tautou I would die happy!

At the mo,Gossip Girl, Brothers and Sisters, One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, Firefly, How I met your mother ,West Wing, Studio 60, Veronica Mars, Battlestar Galactica, Eastenders, Star Trek, Stargate, Smallville, Buffy, Dark Angel, Roswell, The F Word, Cookery Programmes, SATC,Third Watch, JAG, NCIS,The Unit, 90210, Ghost Whisperer. Love To Catch a Predator which scares the bejesus out of me.

I live to read. My current reading list includes The Bible, Biographies,​ Historical Novels. I love Harry Potter, Tolkien, Andy Mc Nab...I don't really discriminate​ in my writing preferences but Cecelia Ahern and Nicholas Sparks aren't going to find their way onto my bookshelf. My taste is a little more refined...
