I will start off by introducing myself. My name is KATIE and I am 25 years of age.
I joined Interpals a little over a year ago. Since then I have met so many wonderful and very kool people from many differant walks of life.
Every single person I have met I have learned something from. I am a very open minded person and I love to learn as much as I can about anyone from a differant country.
I love to view pictures of people in their native lands... I especially find Africa to be very beautiful and intriguing. Definitely the most beautiful continent, in my opinion. Interpals has really opened up the door for me to explore and open my mind to the people of the world around me.
If you are curious, as some people are, my nationality is Mexican-American and Caucasian. I am fluent in Spanish. Puedo hablar en espanol pa' si quieres hablar conmigo, pues echale!!! estoy esperando!. ;)
I love photography. I love black and white photography and old pictures of people and places really grab my attention. I also enjoy writing in my free time. I love journalling, and letter writing. Also creative writing and poetry! I love to read, too... its been awhile since I read a good book!
I like to surround myself with people who carry positive vibes. People who are friendly, open-minded, HUMBLE, who love to laugh, and who are just genuine good people.
I am a highly creative individual. Anything creative whether is be writing, art, photography, etc. I will delve into it. Art is beautiful and makes life more colorful and meaningful. I must also tell you that I am also a Mother to two beautiful girls. I live and breathe for my children. They are my world.
& last, but never least, I have an amazing boyfriend who never ceases to bring out the best in me.

REGGAE. REGGAE. REGGAE. Yes I love Reggae. It puts me in a great mood everytime I listen to it. I enjoy mostly contemporary Reggae, Dancehall is o.k. too./color]

I also enjoy listening to Rock en espanol:  (Mana', Juanes, Julieta Venegas, ) and Reggaeton, (Ivy Queen!!!)

I enjoy watching National Geographic, Family Guy, Steve Wilkos, etc.

My favorite book is, "The rose that grew from concrete" by Tupac Shakur.
