Hi! I'm Vanessa, and I'm 22. I'm live in Southampton ,where I'm completing the last year of my sports journalism degree.
I love meeting new people and find people from other backgrounds and cultures the most interesting people I know, so want to meet more!

I can read and translate French quickly and fluently, and can speak some basic French..however I aren't particularly strong at writing, but am really trying to learn!

My passions are triathlon and distance running. I spend a lot of time training and really enjoy the buzz and sense of achievement it gives me! I love trying my hand at pretty much anything, I like a challenge!

Where to start! I don't have a favourite genre, I either like a song or I don't... Favourite artists: Madonna, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, acoustic stuff like Damien Rice or Jack Johnson, classic dance anthems, anything 90's... you get the picture..

To name a few: Crash, The Kill Bill movies, Unfaithful, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the Bond Movies, The Piano, Goodfellas, Lady and the Tramp, Million Dollar Baby,Finding Nemo, Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet, Gladiator, Finding Nemo, Bridget Jones's Diary, Braveheart, Cruel Intentions, Titanic, The Bodyguard..a lot!!

I don't find a lot of time for TV but when I do: Any sport, needless to say!! Sex and the City, Friends, Britain's Got Talent (at the moment)...

I read a lot of autobiographies, particularly those of sportspeople:  Lance Armstrong, Paula Radcliffe etc..I'm currently reading Black White and Gold by Kelly Holmes. I do break it up with the latest Jackie Collins release though :)
