About Me:
I'm Nick,
I'm half Irish, half Korean, and an American who was born in Seoul. My father met my mother in Korea, and that's where I spent seven years of my childhood. The rest of my life was spent moving between weird and magnificent places - Mexico, Thailand, Germany, and both coasts of the United States. I've traveled to many, many more.
I'm an undergraduate Physics major in my final year of college. I love it!

Requests:
I'd like to meet new, interesting people with interesting stories. If you could help me learn the languages I'm interested in that would be great too!
Mostly I'm here to connect, to learn, and to teach.
Feel free to ask me any questions related to physics - philosophical, mathematical, theoretical, or whatever. If you ever wondered why the sky is blue, how rainbows are created, or why electrons create an interference pattern in a double slit experiment (crazy!) - I love answering these questions.
**Also - please talk to me first before adding me as a friend. I don't make friends with people I don't talk with first out in the real world, I'd like to try and adhere to that here. Thanks!

The video quality isn't that great, but this song is epic!

Favorite Quotes:
"Poets say science takes away from the beauty of the stars - mere globs of gas atoms. Nothing is "mere." I too can see the stars on a desert night, and feel them. But do I see less or more? The vastness of the heavens stretches my imagination - stuck on this carousel my little eye can catch one-million-years-old light. A vast pattern-of which I am a part-perhaps my stuff was belched from some forgotten star, as one is belching there. Or see them with the greater eye of Palomar, rushing all apart from some common starting point when they were perhaps all together. What is the pattern, or the meaning, or the why?...For far more marvelous is the truth than any artists of the past imagined!" - Richard Feynman
"My Strength is as the strength of ten,
Because my heart is pure." - Lord Alfred Tennyson
"Traveler, there is no road
Only a ship's wake on the sea" - Antonio Machado
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul. - William Ernest Henley
O Binômio de Newton é tão belo como a Vênus de Milo.
O que há é pouca gente para dar por isso.
óóóó — óóóóóóóóó — óóóóóóóóóóóóóóó
(O vento lá fora.)
- A poem by Alvaro de Campos (Fernando Pessoa)
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain
If those who lead you say to you,
See, the kingdom is in heaven,
Then the birds of heaven will go before you.
If they say to you,
It is in the sea,
Then the fish will go before you.
But the kingdom is within you, and it is outside of you. - Gospel of Thomas
No man is an island, entire of itself...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee." -John Donne
"To make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe." - Carl Sagan
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" - Plato
