"Hello"​ is, I suppose, the best word to start with so... hello! As you can tell I am a 28 year old - or rather young? - female from beautiful Bavaria in the very south east of Germany. I have just completed my master's degree in French and Italian, English, German and German as a foreign language and am now working at the University of Regensburg.  As you can easily guess I am very fond of languages, linguistics and literature, but I have also got a passion for music and movies, travelling, other countries and cultures, history, psychology, baking and cooking, going for walks... - and the list goes on! Well, like most people at Interpals I am, surprise, surprise, looking for a pen friend. I quite decidedly prefer snail mail over e-mail as traditional letters are in my opinion way more human and personal and thus more appropriate to establish a genuine and enduring friendship, which is what I would ideally like to do. I am willing to discuss (almost) all sorts of things, from the (lousy) weather to current affairs (just as lousy...), and I am also prepared to share the ups and downs of everyday life in reasonably long, chatty and regular letters.
