I know a bit of French (having taken it in school since kindergarten​), but highly doubt I'd be able to go to France and converse with anyone fluently.  My stepfather's​ family is Mennonite, and twice a year we attend huge family gatherings at which they speak German and sing in German and I always feel so left out, so would absolutely love for someone to help me with that.  In March of '08 I'm going to Spain and Portugal for our grad trip, and would really like to be able to say a few basic things while there.

Although I unfortunatel​y only know one language fluently, I'm rather talented when it comes to my native tongue, and would be all to happy to help anyone learn English.  :-)
