The moon fell upon us tonite
as we gazed longingly into each other eyes
Luminous beams cascading in golden streaks
Capturing us as its prisoners of love
Standing still with the stars & moonlight swirling around us
Light sparkling our very movements
As my hand stroked your smooth face
freshly shaven under my fingertips
Tracing your jawline, caressing the curves of your lips
Your hands gently upon my scented hair, a soft floral breeze wafting in the night's tender wind
as the wisps sweetly intertwine in your strong yet delicate grasp.

When the moon first came to be upon us~~~you were unknown to me as I was sleeping, dreaming of you & I standing in a rose garden by a stone wall as you embraced me and kissed me under its large bright fire
When we became soulmates melding as one, the moon was a mere, tiny crescent shape hanging shyly up in the dark sky
symbolizing the beginning of our relationship~
As our love grew in stages, so did the moon,
changing its form til once again it grew full and round, capturing us within it's sphere of love.
The moon fell upon us tonite
captivating us for a life time of unending love for one another~

Written for a common friend

A Breath Away

In half light, silver glows,
behind as moon grows,
sensual silhouette,
dancing as duet.

But a breath away,
as wind whispers, stay
a voiceless gaze,
loves warmth portrayed.

Embracing, without touch
two as one clutch,
slowly, together, closer
in moonlight bolster.

Pale red, glisten with desire
sweet lips, passions fire
eyes, to hold heart
falling in pools impart.

Graceful motion to reach,
such lips as I beseech,
longing to adore,
first kiss, sweet amour.
