I know a few people on this site know that I am eventually looking at teaching abroad in the subject of English many people on this sit have asked for assitance in this subject and I think gettins some experince in teaching to some mild degree would be a good idea for me since that is really what I want to do in the long term
About once every 2 weeks I shall post up small English lesson here in my notes that you can use as casual study guides, that you may or may not use as aids.
I may or may not be on time all the time with these lessons since I have a very busy schedule and am myself still tring to get through school. But I promise to try and put up these lesson as ofen as possible to aid to people that are seeking help.
for my first choice in a lesson I will choose a subject mater that is fairly simple but important.
Nouns, Verbs, and Adectives
Nouns in English really simply a person, a place or a thing.
Examples of these could be.
Sally went to the mall, and bought a beach ball
if you were to have a test that had a question asking what are the nouns of this sentence, Sally, the mall, and the beach ball would be the proper answer to that type of question.
a proper Noun is usually a thing or more typically a person that is well known such a George Bush, or Mount Rushmore. its the base principle of that it can be a person place or thing but it is more well known, and usually is capitalized when written in a paper.
an Adjective is a word that is used to describe a noun typically they are found before a noun helping describe that noun.
such as Mexican Food, or Chinese Acrobats, a Dog Hotel.
Verbs are typically action words, they describe an action of nouns, such as running, talking things such as this
example: Billy ran out the door the street, he then went shopping with Stew at the local sports store.
for a brief homework for anyone that is interested in looking at these lessons give me two examples of nouns and verbs in your comments to this note.and I will attempt to correct your examples if needed.
