So come Monday the 13th July 2009 I'm going on a road-trip across southern Norway (my native country) and possibly Sweden (the neighboring country) for a period of about 4 or 5 days. Though it might be only 3 days, I don't know yet.

The journey is one of my annual trips, I've done two earlier. In July of 2008 and July of 2006. I didn't have a drivers license in 2007, so that trip got canceled for obvious reasons.

The main reason for the journey is to see my own country for a few days, travel it and get my thoughts straight. One can almost see it as a therapeutic travel, get calmness in my body and my spirit lifted back up after a long year.

I don't have a sett destination or travel route, its almost a flip of the coin type of travel, I go where it seems right. Listening to audio books all the way, and enjoying the scenery.

So come Monday 13th of July I will be on my way. Wish me luck and await the rapport on my return. And possibly a great deal of landscape photos of beautiful scenic Norway (and just maybe Sweden, if they are lucky enough to receive a visit from a quiet Norwegian traveler)
