Tonight I was already figuring out where to go for my spring break. I started traveling in the winter time to europe last year in Feb 08. I found out that it's cheaper to fly (due to the airfare costs) and the hotel/hostels are cheaper.
But another oppertunity came by me last week. Some friends of mine are thinking about going to Miami at the end of March 2010. Gonna stay there for 4 days. Around the end of March in Miami, theres a HUGE dance music/techno music conference that people go to. People from all over the world hea dto Miami and spend a whole week there and go to the biggest parties and see all the dj's. I've never been to Miami or Florida, but it seems so much fun!!
And....
As you all know how much I love The Netherlands and it's culture. Starting the first week of April, Theres the Trance music festival "Trance Energy" taking place. I want to go, but the airfare seems kinda pricey around that time. But Amsterdam and the Netherlands is like my 3rd home away from home and I always go back every year. And I have made so many friends on this website that are from the NL so I can't miss out!!
I'm at a point where I can either go to Miami, or to Amsterdam or take the risk and do both!! What do you guys think? any opinions?
Thanks/Cheers/Greetz/Garcias

Do you ever feel...

Do you ever feel that a certain song, scent, taste, or feeling would take you back to a good time in your life? For me this year it has happend to me oh so often. There's this song I really like called Mogwai - "Friend of the night." It's a very beautiful intsrumental expermintal rock song I have ever heard. I remember when I first time I saw the video and heard the song in the late spring of 2006, my mind was in another world. I felt that everything made sense to me at the time
That song made me cry(which was happy tears) and I was over powered with emotion. I also remember hearing that song over and over because I was so happy that I saw Madonna perform in San Francisco that year, and I was going to see her in the UK, and I was going abroad for a few weeks to see Europe. The song also reminds me of the 3 days I spent in Amsterdam(which made my visit even more memorable) The dark piano melodies that blend in with the bass/guitars, reminds me how life can be beautiful and hopeful. So whenevr I'm feelin down, I play that song over and over to remind me of the good times I had that year. Or when I miss Amsterdam or Holland in General, I play that song to bring me closer to it! :)
Now I would like to know, if any of you experience this? It can be experiencing with sense of sound, touch, emotional, taste, etc. I would love to like to know!! :)
