It was good to hear from you! I'm sorry to hear that you've been so sick; that sounds miserable. It's good that you're starting to feel better.

It's interesting to hear you speak about the temperature getting warmer, since our seasons are reversed. Here, it's starting to cool off. Today, actually, we had perfect temperature-​- low 80s. I was in Sun Valley this past weekend for the Spiritual Film Festival, and it was very cool and rainy. We had some thunderstorm​s there as well, which I enjoy watching. I'm not ready for cool weather, though. As I told my friend there, I refuse to surrender to close-toed shoes just yet.  My feet love the freedom of open sandals.

I did have a great vacation, and returning to work was challenging,​ as always. My job had been quite slow for a while, and suddenly it's picked up. It's more interesting that way, at least. Are you working anywhere now?

I had to laugh when I read about your kitty. My kitten Toby managed to dig through the plants I had on the table while I was away. Clearly I need to move them to a higher location! At least our little feline buddies are entertaining​ and so cute that we mostly forgive them for their misdeeds--at​ least I do.

I don't mind a large post at all--and I hope to hear from you again soon. I know I still owe you a letter; I've not forgotten :) I've j ust been gone a lot lately. I'm guessing I'll be at home for a while now, so I should have a chance to catch up on my corresponden​ce.

I really like your new kitty pictures--so​ cute! I've not heard from you for a while, so I hope you're doing well.

My kitten Toby is curled up in my lap as I type here. He's sleeping peacefully--​for the moment! I just got back from vacation--a week on the beautiful Oregon coast with my folks. We were stationed in Coos Bay and took day trips to several fun sites, including various beaches. Time by the ocean always invigorates me; now, sadly, I must return to work.

I had to look at your new kitty pictures--so​ cute! I need to put up some new pictures of my kitten too. My two older cats were both sick and went through a round of antibiotics.​ I certainly hope they're all better now.

How have you been? We've not chatted for a while. I've been fairly well, though I'm getting burned out and ready for a vacation. I'm hoping to visit the Oregon coast in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait to be near the ocean.

I've had a couple of fun weekend getaways lately, incluidng one this past weekend, when I got to meet an InterPal friend in person. He and his girlfriend were in the US on vacation, all the way from France. They flew into and out of Salt Lake City, which is close to me, so I flew down to meet them. It was so much fun hanging out with them before they flew back to Paris.
