About Me:

Hi, well well well what can I say about my dull little life? first of all I could say that I lived the first ten years of my life in the US, and then moved back to France a few years ago. Secondly I just graduated from la Sorbonne University, getting my bachelor's degree in history. I will be studying law next year(uhh, is that possible? can a delightfull and poetic soul thrive for such a cold field? I guess so! lol...).I'm a very fun person to speak with (at least I like to think so..). I'm very open-minded, and no, even though I like studying I'm definitely not a nerd; To be honest, I even know how to have fun with my friends! (incredible?).
I'm a rather quiet but
also a frenzic boy (is that an oxymoron?).
-plus i'm currently learning Russian (a beautiful language by the way)
I may sometimes be shy, but it has it's advantages!!!
I'm a rather sensitive boy, and even though I may sometimes be troubled, the simple chant of a bird or the gaze of the clouds passing by is enough to awaken a benevolant smile from my face and fill me with joy (...uh, I know, I may seem naive...but who cares?, I certainly don't).
For those who happen to live in "Old Europe", as some would say, I'm a big fan of the European Union and definitely believe in it's values (even though there seems to be a problem regarding it's institutions). So, if you wan't to have a chat on that matter, just mail me!

Requests:

-I would really like to hook up with the US which I left quite a long time ago. I would like to be able to converse a bit in english, but I could also help you with your french (if you're studying such a language). I'm getting quite bored with my fellow french classmates and I would like to share my experience of living between two countries, two cultures. But I'm thoroughfully open to people  who come from all over the world (the only condition is to be close to my age) :)...aren't we all "citizens of the world?" (sorry for this dull "bobo", or bourgeois bohemian phrase...which I'm not).
-and since I've been asked this question, I'll put a clear answer once and for all: yes my sideburns are real, and there not fake ;)
-Finally I just wanted to say that I'm not looking for a girlfriend (neither a boyfriend!) but for genuine english speaking pen pals.

I'm still here in fact; I leave the 2nd. I'm here with my family though and we're in an apartment.

Weird to hear but I really like the metro. It's prime people watching ground because you take out their normal landscape and put them all behind the same backdrop and all their differences come out. I don't know, maybe I'm just weird that way :)

I've had a great time thus far but really miss my friends, because I've been gone a really long time (I was in Egypt before I came to Paris). Plus, I'm learning more and more how much I dislike my family, and it's hard to be with them 24/7. My dad was only here for a bit then left, and that's when all hell breaks loose as I'm most like him.

Hope MacDo isn't so bad...

-Lauren
