I like to think I'm an open-minded and easy-going person. I usually seem quiet at first as it takes me a while to open up but I like meeting new people.

I'm looking for friends from all over the world to learn more about other cultures and lifestyles. I don't want to just make acquaintance​s - people who just say hi and drop a few lines - but real friends, hopefully those that last forever! :D I like writing long emails and getting long replies in return. I enjoy intelligent conversation​s or even silly topics.

I can speak Mandarin but I think I really need to put in more effort in writing and reading in Chinese. I know this is not the best way to learn languages but it'd be nice to meet someone who can teach.

World travel definitely tops my list of things I must do in life! There's just something so exciting about experiencing​ different cultures and lifestyles of people around the world, don't you think so? Other interests include science and art. Books, movies, anime and manga are fun too. I'm not just a nerd. I also love outdoor activities, such as jungle-trekk​ing, kayaking, camping, rappelling, feeding mosquitoes (well, ok, maybe not this one - just threw it in for fun, lol). I'm very passionate about animals. Also very much a food person! I like spicy food, the spicier, the better! But any good food whets my appetite.

I listen to whatever music is on the radio or whatever suits my mood at the time... Linkin Park, Nickleback, Secondhand Serenade, Jason Mraz, Nelly Furtado, Katy Perry, Siti Nurhaliza, Anuar Zain, Peterpan, Estranged, some Mandopop/J-p​op/K-pop...
