About Me:
Greetings,
I am an American currently living and working in Hong Kong. I teach music to young people.
I would like to meet all types of people from all over the world. I love the U.S., but would also like to expand my knowledge of other cultures. If you've made it this far, you might as well say hello.

Everyone is welcomed. I know how to hit the delete button if your motives are questionable:)
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
world music, humor (a bit dry, sarcastic and silly), general conversation, politics, current events, vegetarian recipes, chocolate, napping, etc.
Favorite Music:
I teach music, so I can't say I have a favorite. It depends on what mood I'm in. There is so much music out there to know about, so I enjoy learning what other people like and why they like it. Hi hows it goin :)
Hi!
I was browsing profiles and I stumbled upon you and discovered we have a lot in common, movies and Bill Maher wise. : )
What is it like as an American in China?
And- what are some pet peeves you have as a music teacher? I'd like to avoid making any instructors/conductors I have angry. Though, I assume it's mostly flakiness and lack of practicing....
I hope to hear from you!

Hello, how is working in Hong Kong? I may work in China/territory of China some day as well (not quite sure yet) and I would love to hear of your experiences as a teacher. (:
Hi Jason. I'll be teaching overseas in the near future. Just not sure when or where. It's a great way to experience other cultures and have fun traveling at the same time.
Hi Jason. Nei ho ma? So you're an American teacher teaching in Hong Kong? I'm an Asian teacher teaching in America. What's it like to teach music there? Sounds fun!
Thanks for the reply Jason :)
Let me know what you think of it if you catch any of their stuff! If I come across anything else interestingly world music oriented I'll be sure to pass it along.
Hope you're having a great day!

Hi! I was reading your profile and was struck by your interest in music. Have you ever heard anything by the AfroCelt Sound System? It's quite an interesting blend of music.
I know, I know, the suggestion is absolutely unsolicited so I hope this didn't come across as too rude or forward. :) I hope you're having a lovely day.
