About Me:
I am an American woman interested in global travel & global awareness.
I want to see the world and learn from people everywhere. I want travel to different places, not for the tourist locations, but for the local cuisine, lifestyle, and entertainment. I want to experience different cultures as a native would practice them.
I am a forward thinker, goal-attainer, and creative soul with harnessed ambition the size of the globe.
I am an artist: a photographer, a painter, a writer, a ceramics sculptor, a designer. I am an imaginator, creator, magic maker.
I believe that if I believe I can, I can do anything.
I like having intellectual conversations about countless topics. If with the right person, I even enjoy controversy and heated discussions about politics and the economy.

Language Exchange Requests:
I have been an active English editor for several years now.
I would like to learn more French (high school education level). And I would like to learn Spanish to broaden my abilities.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
I recently went on an East-Coast, USA road trip. My best friend and I traveled up the coast to New Hampshire. It's a beautiful drive and definitely a bonding tradition.
I'm currently trying to plan a cruise, but I can't settle on a destination. I'm completely overjoyed to be able to go anywhere; this makes it impossible to decide.
I like to collect postcards and also trinkets and collectibles specific to a place. When I travel, I try to buy one piece of jewelry from my destination so that when I'm older, with children of my own, I will be able to pass them a collection of jewelry that's been gathered from all over the world.
I enjoy going to the gym. I joined one for the first time at the beginning of the year and I'm hooked. It makes me happy.
I'm interested in learning more Spanish and more French. I took two years of French in high school, but haven't used it since then.
I enjoy road-tripping. Being in my car is one of the most therapeutic activities I can think of.
I love my pets. I have two dogs, one cat, and one ferrets. I'd be a completely different human being without them.
Attending concerts is my all-time favorite pass-time. There's no other form of exercise and enjoyment than rocking out to some killer live music with hundreds of people who are just as happy to be there as you are.
I recently discovered the art of natural mediation. I found a place overlooking a fresh body of water in the National Forest where I live. I've lived there all my life and, while I've always know this one cove existed, I never quite appreciated it's value until recently. It's beautiful; now I take a hike through the forest several times a week just to relax and mediate in the natural beauty of the world in which I live. Every time I walk away from that place, I walk away happier than when I came.

Favorite Music:
Music is the universal language.
Favorite Movies:
Anything comedic. Some suspenseful. Not much for horror/gore. Anything satirical. Almost anything dramatic. I like movies, but rarely get the time to watch them; I'd much rather be outside.
Favorite TV Shows:
Grey's Anatomy & LOST
Favorite Books:
I love reading, but hardly get around to doing it. Currently I've got bookmarks in No Country for Old Men, Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs, and Blue Highways. All of which are excellent reads. I suggest all three very highly.
Favorite Quotes:
For Serious: "You say you want a revolution. Well you know, we all want to change the world ... But when you talk about destruction, don't you know you can count me out? Don't you know it's gonna be alright?" -- The Beatles. Revolution.
For humor: "This is one doodle that can't be undid, home skillet." From the movie Juno.
For serious: "In my own limited experience I have found that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being." Dalhi
For serious: 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have.' -- Thomas Jefferson
For serious: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable."
John F. Kennedy
35th president of US 1961-1963 (1917 - 1963)

Nice to hear that!
Not really, when I travel I still listen to my own music, even if I am interested in local music, if it does exist. Here in Norway there is almost only folk and metal, balck metal metal metal metal music, and I do not like it. Therfore I am not interested.
When I was in Germany I looked for something german and I+ve been once at a concert.
But I prefer to discover music myself!!!
I am going to the library
Have fun over there,
kisses and lot of fun for the concert!
Be prepared, even if it is not right now, hahaha
kisses

Well, spanish and Italian are not that difficult to learn (I have no Idea about franch), but latin languages (Italian, Spanish, Franch and Albanian and Romanian) should be not that difficult, as so many person speack them correctly and fluently!
I've never tryed to learn spanish (ok, just some lessons at school, but I abandouned after all) and I think that for me could be really easy!!!
I try to do my best , but it is really hard and the only way to learn languages is to travel!!!
Well done, plan a trip to Europe, the old continent! So many attractions and beautiful cityes in just a small continent.
You will see

NYC is a great place..never been there but plan to make a trip in the future. where did u stay? hotel, friends or probably relatives? damn1, if u buy a tour from moscow to new york and back..it will definitely cost you several thousands dollars..around 3-4 for sure...airtickets are expensive...it's always this way..when u fly overseas.
well. am doing pretty well - thanks for asking:) fortunately nothing happens here - everything is in the past.
how about you? anything exciting?
how about you? anything exciting?
thank a lot for all the wishes!!! I try to do my best and actually I am happy that thing are working quite well, but it is not that easy cause to travel so much and be alway far away from the best friends and family is not that easy... I am single again for example now hahah!!!
To trave makes me reache and reacher, but at the same time I am missing all that kind of thing that a steady life offer you: habits, friends, calm, security, company!!! I feel alone really often here, and the wall of the language is really hard to break. But well, I am happy and satisfied!! I am trying to realize some dreams...
Of course I am here if you want to travel a bit!!!
Hugs,
Luca
