Right, from what I have heard Django is really nice, a buddy of mine can't stop to enthuse about Django on nginx ("soooo lighweight and fast!") whenever I talk to him..^^ |
I use Catalyst+ Starman+ DBIx::Class+nginx , it's really fast, made some benchmarks with ab , and got 750requests/second

Nice!
Call me old fashioned, but I am an Apache guy....my focus is on security, and with the proper config and some nice modules nothing beats Apache security (of course only with fgci/fastcgi, NOT with mod_php).
I usually don't run benchmarks, because with 50+ websites on the server it's pretty pointless to test single scripts. but with a proper amount of RAM and Worker MPM Apache can be faster than most people might think (ok, it of course also depends on the PHP config and a lot on the MySQL/PostgreSQL config).
