Whooa! My answer is yes of course its wrong... However, I want to ask that question from a philisophical point.
In another thread, someone mentioned that certain countries imprison, or even execute people for being gay.
We condemn those countries, but what makes our value system better than theirs?
Does majority rule determine right and wrong?

Is it wrong to execute gay people? Obviously if you live somehwere like the West, the answer is yes.

However, as you said, what makes our value system better than theirs? We can say why it is wrong to execute gay people, but at the same time they will give an arguement on why they assess that it is just to do so.

They would have to have to give a compelling arguement on what it is about gay people whether individually or group wise, that is so deleterious to their soceity. What makes it so harmful to them, and how insidious it is.
