Agree. People with little or no education and/or orthodox backgrounds make it difficult, but not impossible.

As a
human being, I know what it takes to marry a person outside your own religion: lots of guts and lots of love. Many, many Indians go for inter-religious/caste marriage. All of them are not killed. If that had happened, I wouldn't be on this earth.
The fear of fundamentalists is not going to keep people from going for an inter-religious marriage.

And those that perpetrate honour killings are sent to jail. The Supreme Court has even defined honour killings as 'rarest-of-rare' cases and awarded capital punishment to those guilty of such crimes.
