I think it would be really nice if you are able to download messages in the inbox and the sent box. Since I have heard of incidence of deletion of old messages [http://www.interpals.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=62003], it would be nice if you are able to get them on your harddisk.

Also, there should be an option to have your messages forwarded to you mail (like Google, Hotmail, Yahoo etc) inbox. Right now, I do get messages in my mail inbox when the messages are sent to me while I am offline, it doesn't happen when I am online.

Thank you a lot! Óñìèõâàíå :)

Oh thanks for your support rJAlwaySSmiling. Annoyed
There are lot of threads in this section which haven't received any replies yet. But in my opinion, this was a good suggestion Idea

While waiting for their response, another option is copy paste your messages to Ms.word then save them Wink

I would consider this an insult to reply such to an extremely lazy person like me. Annoyed

Razz Ðàçñìèâàíå :D

btw, coping pictures and links would be a tedious task. Even simply the text messages. Óñìèõâàíå :)

I'm not sure if Firefox can save the content of the web pages from your inbox. If not there'll most definitely be an addon which can.
Failing that, 3rd party apps which index web pages. But be careful. Websites which have heavy mirror traffic tend not to like it, and may block you (either the app you use, or even your IP)

I can't imagine an 'export all posts' function (to .rtf or .doc or .ods) should be very difficult. If it is, maybe the option of 'show all posts/messages grouped by user' could be added and then copying everything yourself would be the way to go. On the other hand, I don't object against manual back-ups.
