Wait.. what? First of all, there are other STDs. More importantly, HIV is not only spread by consensual sex. It is spread by tainted blood transfusions. It can be spread by rape as well, and to suggest that a woman who was raped deserves HIV is among the most nauseating suggestions I could possibly imagine. And what about children born with it? Really, there are a lot of issues with what you suggested Longloadr. If God is trying to use this to punish bad people, he has pretty terrible aim.

Oh, and HIV is not totally preventable, though ironically it is made less preventable by the works of fundamentalist christians, who discourage sex education.

Am I misunderstanding here?Or what? Seems like the idea brought by longload is that where there is casual sex there is EASY transfer of STDs which finds its ways into monogamous people too,isn't herpes transferred just by kissing?
The other idea seems to be that we are going to have less constrained (marriage) sex and christianity is at fault for not agreeing with us and helping us with education etc..

The majority say,WE are GOING there and these various STDs are a pain in the butt,so it's how to do it without unpleasant consequences.?? Here is another major difference between man and the rest,in the wild males will risk death in combat for a female in eostris,oystris maybe ,but humans have sex just for pleasure,except for those who think sacred when they are about to take the plunge and who is to say it is less pleasureable for them??

No, that's not true at all. It is not "at your own peril," that would be like saying, "well, sure, no problem, you can do it, but hey look out for the dangers!" Religious books do not typically encourage people to use protection or think about sex wisely. They just forbid sex outside of heterosexual marriage, leaving unspoken the dangers of casual, unprotected sex. Were these books realistic and understanding of human nature, they would have encouraged protection and caution, not abstinence.

I think Longloadr is refusing to answer my question because he really does believe that God created AIDS to punish homosexuals and others who are sexually "immoral". But he doesn't have the guts to say so directly.

Maybe AIDS s here to show human being that how impotent we are against a tiny virus. So do not be that haughty

Well , I would have to think about that one because spanish flu is also just a tiny virus,what did we do or not do to cop that one,or maybe survival of the fittest caused it to mutate into something we had little or no immunity to...Proving it came from god would be more than difficult...
