If Allah would have wanted to punish homosexuals, why would he have invented a disease which infects heterosexuals too?

Exactly how can homosexuality threaten the entire human race? Most people are actually heterosexual.
All the homophobia which has surfaced on this thread is disgusting

Sorsis... I'm not sure what you are asking, but obviously aids is spread by people having sex outside of the marriage covenant that God put in place. So, HIV /AIDS is not just like other diseases. HIV / AIDS (unlike many other disease) is totally preventable. |
Wait.. what? First of all, there are other STDs. More importantly, HIV is not only spread by consensual sex. It is spread by tainted blood transfusions. It can be spread by rape as well, and to suggest that a woman who was raped deserves HIV is among the most nauseating suggestions I could possibly imagine. And what about children born with it? Really, there are a lot of issues with what you suggested Longloadr. If God is trying to use this to punish bad people, he has pretty terrible aim.
Oh, and HIV is not totally preventable, though ironically it is made less preventable by the works of fundamentalist christians, who discourage sex education.

So! the religioneers handbook calls casual sex a "no go" zone,at your own peril...

No, that's not true at all. It is not "at your own peril," that would be like saying, "well, sure, no problem, you can do it, but hey look out for the dangers!" Religious books do not typically encourage people to use protection or think about sex wisely. They just forbid sex outside of heterosexual marriage, leaving unspoken the dangers of casual, unprotected sex. Were these books realistic and understanding of human nature, they would have encouraged protection and caution, not abstinence.
